The 10 Weeks of Christmas

A Stress-Free Journey for creating a centered and celebratory holiday season

As we flip our calendars  in the fall there is no denying Christmas will be here before we know it!  Without a plan in the hustle and bustle of the holiday season, our well-made plans of sending cards, homemade gifts, early shopping, baking and other celebrations often get lost all together or become stressful instead of enjoyable.

Our 10 Week Christmas Countdown workshop is comprised of 32 lessons to help you

bullet

Create the most memorable Christmas ever

bullet

Plan ahead to reduce stress, save time, and  save money

bullet

Find creative and economical solutions for  decorating and gift-giving

and much more as outlined below....

On the 10th Week of Christmas, my class gave to me

a holiday notebook to make my planning easy…

Creating Your Holiday Notebook (a.k.a. Your Spare Holiday Brain)

Stress is the uninvited guest that joins our festivities when we wait until the last minute to complete the whirlwind of holiday to-dos. They key to a stress-free, tradition-filled, creative and cherished holiday season is planning ahead.

We will also say over and over: Yes, I’m sending Christmas Cards this Year.  How many of you have the best intentions to send cards… only to discover it is too late? This year, we start on this task early. Using a master address book template (choose from printed or Excel) we create a master list for this year—and every year! The goal? To have all of our names and addresses together in one place in the next three weeks so we can get our cards out on time.

On the 9th Week of Christmas, my class gave to me

a way to avoid spending sprees….

A Holiday Budget

The commercialization of Christmas has left many of us with credit card bills in our stockings.  Without planning, we often turn to “quick solutions” in stressful times. Marketers know this—why do you think all those beautiful gift baskets/packages are at eye-level in every store? This week we create an overall budget and spending plan for the season to help us avoid post-holiday blues and create magical memories without living beyond our means.

Creative Gifting: Gift-giving has become a stressful event for many of us. It is hard to find “the perfect gift,” or find time or ideas for homemade solutions. This week we create our master gift-giving list including who will receive homemade gifts and purchased gifts. Budget amounts will also be included. By week’s end you will have a complete spending plan and gift list to check off as the holidays get closer. You’ll receive an introduction to  simple-to-make gifts that are covered in our Christmas Creative Camp Week.

On the 8th Week of Christmas, my class gave to me

homemade gift ideas that anyone would love to receive...

Christmas Creativity Camp

Our “Christmas Creativity Camp,” begins this week. Each project includes a step-by-step photo instruction sheet. From memory boxes, to photo gifts, to coasters, to mini-books, to crafts, you’ll learn many easy-to-make gifts that outdo anything you can buy in a store. don’t worry if you consider yourself “not creative”, the list I have put together has gifts for all levels!

On the 7th week of Christmas, my class gave to me,

a plan for a perfect party…

Parties, Entertaining & Cookie Exchanges

We will share how to make this year’s cookie time a memorable and fun part of the holidays. Step-by-step instructions are included to coordinate a cookie exchange. In addition you’ll learn valuable tips for entertaining and how to organize a successful, stress-free holiday party. We will also share our favorite Christmas cookie and candy recipes.

On the 6th week of Christmas, my class gave to me

ideas for making memories…

Traditions:

Ready to add more magical moments to your holiday? This week focuses on family traditions. In addition to sharing your own family traditions, I’ll share a collection of ideas you can incorporate throughout the holiday season to maximize the holiday spirit!

On the 5th week of Christmas, my class gave to me

a step-by-step plan for Thanksgiving memories…

 The Best Thanksgiving Ever

Thanksgiving is an often overlooked holiday and considered the “start of the official last minute Christmas preparation”! Not this year. Learn valuable ideas and tips to make Thanksgiving one of your families most cherished times of the year. We will also cover The Perfect Turkey Dinner  and you’ll receive my personal Thanksgiving Dinner Menu complete with shopping lists.

On the 4th week of Christmas, my class gave to me

a Power Clean Challenge to get my home clean and ready…

The Power Clean Challenge

Turn your home into a Christmas wonderland with these simple decorating ideas. As we gather supplies this week we will complete a “Power-Clean” Challenge to prep your home for the decorations next week.

On the 3rd week of Christmas, my class gave to me

more decorating ideas that don’t require a designer degree

Decorating for the Days Ahead

Next we begin our creative decorating series including tips for a "green" Christmas and how to create a Christmas wonderland on a budget.

On the 2nd week of Christmas, my class gave to me

a menu that even Martha would love to see…

The Christmas Menu

Together we will plan our holiday menus, shopping lists, and step-by-step tips to make preparation stress-free. We will break down our tasks by what we can do in advance, share recipes, and much more. You’ll also learn some simple activities to keep kids entertained over the holiday seasons and have them help you with your to-do list.

On the last week of Christmas, my class gave to me

a plan to make the day stress-free…

We will review our countdown checklist for meal preparation and festivities. You’ll also learn some tips for keeping the season stress-free.
